This beautiful rebozo (as the shawl is called in Mexico) is very tightly woven in lightweight cotton. The warp ikat stripes run down the center of alternating brown and indigo blue stripes which cover the entire fabric. The ends of the warp are knotted into a beautiful lacy design which is typical of the fine skillfully crafted rebozos which are famous in Mexico. Perfect as a lightweight throw. The piece is 26 1/2” wide X 81” (including knotting and fringes). We suggest handwashing to protect the appearance of the fringe - likely to get tangled in a washing machine.
