This backstrap-woven long table runner (mantel) from Nahuala has a beautifully woven small repeat pattern of double-headed eagles. It also has a nice decorative rectangle on each side. It has the typical bleeding of the red dye. Dark red yarn is silk or artisela; the main body of the weave is cotton. It is in very good condition with some wear on the outer edges. The two halves of the long piece are in the first two photos. Very likely made from one side of a vintage huipil. 16 1/2”W X 90” L.
