This Nebaj huipil has a variety of typical stylized animals interspersed with geometric designs and separated by a number of horizontal stripes. The ground on the patterned weave is cranberry, but the weaver has finished the bottom in aa surprising plaid. To the sides are added vertical bands of striped fabric in the same colors. The neckline embroidery, as always chain stitch, is very attractive. Very good condition, with only a little bit of unraveling on the slit at the neckline. 26”W X 24”L.
