This huipil from Santiago Atitlan, the village of the beautiful bird huipiles, is made from a light blue handwoven fabric with purple vertical stripes. Decorative horizontal stripes are woven into the fabric and accented with embroidered stripes. The birds are stunningly executed and there are very pretty pink flowers around the neckline There are bits of mylar in the embroidery yarns which add a bit of sparkle. Outstanding condition. The sides are unseamed. 28”W X 28”L.
