These are typical indigenous men’s pants from Guatemala. The woven design differs from village to village like that of the women’s huipiles. The red color was the traditional color in Santa Catarina Palopo until the change to blue about 20 years ago, so these are older pants. One unusual thing about these pants is that one panel was woven by a different person from the others. Men’s pants are made of 4 lengths of hand woven fabric. These are in very good condition. 27”W X 31”L.
