This pink Nahuala table runner or mantel has contrasting green bands on each end. It is shown folded at the top — the first two photos show the two sides of the piece. It has two beautiful stylized large horses and more smaller animals, like the colored turkeys and cats. It is in near perfect condition and has the characteristic red dye bleeding that is symbolic of menstrual blood, a fertility symbol prominent in Nahuala weavings. Very likely made from one side of a vintage huipil. Backstrap loom woven. 15” W X 57” L.
